Is this product right for me?

    Who should use InLei® S-Powder?

This product is ideal for experienced lash technicians who require full command of solution behaviour during detailed lash lift work. Developed primarily for use with cysteamine-based lifting products, S-Powder also integrates smoothly with ammonium thioglycolate formulations, including the InLei® Lash Filler 25.9 range.

    What is InLei® S-Powder?

S-Powder is a high-performance gelling agent enriched with Sodium Hyaluronate — an ingredient specifically chosen for its ability to lock in moisture and preserve the elasticity of the hair fibre during chemically intensive lash lift treatments, reducing the risk of dryness or damage.

When is the right time to use it?

Incorporate S-Powder into the processing phases of your lash lift service. It is particularly valuable for technicians mastering the Korean lash lift method, where texture control and product adherence are critical to achieving clean, uniform results.

What makes S-Powder the better choice?

Carrying VEGAN OK certification and a 100% Made in Italy guarantee, S-Powder goes beyond typical thickening agents. It creates a rich, coating texture that wraps around the lashes or brows, keeping them neatly positioned for the duration of the service — all without diluting the efficacy of the active ingredients.

Can it be mixed with any lifting lotion?

Yes, S-Powder is formulated to be compatible with both cysteamine and ammonium thioglycolate-based systems. Optimum results are achieved when combined with the InLei® Lash Filler 25.9 range, where the formulas are specifically matched for performance.

    How to Use:
Follow these expert mixing guidelines for best results, fine-tune the ratios based on individual hair density and texture:

    • Lash lift step 1: Combine 10–20% powder with 80–90% of your lifting solution
    • Lash lift step 2: Combine 30% powder with 70% of your lifting solution
    • Expected yield: A single pack of 4 sachets delivers up to 80 treatments when used in Step 2 alone, or approximately 40 treatments across both processing steps
    • Technician tip: Once a sachet is opened, fold and clip it closed straight away, protecting the powder from moisture is key to maintaining consistent texture and performance between uses

    FAQs

What is the difference between Lash Filler and LVL?

Unlike a standard LVL treatment, which solely lifts the lashes, the InLei Lash Filler treatment simultaneously lifts and deeply nourishes the lashes from within. Clinically proven by the University of Milan, the treatment has been shown to increase natural lash thickness by up to 24% after just three sessions.

Can I use the Korean lash lift method with the InLei Lash Filler system?

Absolutely. When performed correctly by a trained professional, the Korean lash lift method works seamlessly alongside the InLei Lash Filler system. The two techniques complement one another and can be adapted to suit different lash types, treatment goals, and desired outcomes. For detailed professional guidance, visit our dedicated blog post.

Is Lash Filler a lash lift or lamination treatment?

In essence, yes — InLei Lash Filler is a lash lift and lamination treatment, but it goes further by actively nourishing and strengthening the natural lashes throughout the process. Unlike conventional lash lifts, the Lash Filler system is clinically tested and proven to increase natural lash thickness by up to 24%, making it a more advanced and conditioning alternative to traditional systems.

    Is InLei Lash Filler vegan?

The majority of InLei Lash Filler products are both vegan and cruelty-free. The two exceptions are InLei Filler 3, which contains Keratin, and InLei Gentle Wax, which is not suitable for a vegan certification.

How long can I keep InLei Lash Filler products open?

Each product displays its shelf life on the packaging as an open jar icon with a number indicating the months. As a general guide: Form 1, Fix 2, and Filler 3 bottles should be used within 2 months of opening. Sachet versions of these products are intended for single-treatment use only.

How should I patch test for Lash Filler and Tint?

A patch test is strongly recommended for all products used during the treatment. Using a clean microfibre brush, apply a small amount of each product to clean skin on the forearm, leave for 15 minutes, then remove and cover each area with a hypoallergenic plaster. Label each patch clearly so any reaction can be traced back to a specific product.

Clients should monitor the area for 24 to 48 hours and report any signs of reaction. If a reaction occurs, the client should be referred to their GP and the treatment should not proceed.

When patch testing tint, always mix it with cream developer, as this is among the most common allergens due to its PPD content. Always review the full ingredient list during consultation and avoid any known allergens.

Why didn't my client's lashes lift after the treatment?

There are several factors that can affect the lifting outcome. The most common causes include selecting an incorrect silicone shield size, improper alignment of the lashes on the shield, applying too much fixing gel, incorrect placement of Form 1 or Fix 2, unsuitable timing choices, or working with expired or improperly stored products. Reviewing each of these variables will help identify where adjustments are needed.

My client is unhappy with their results. Can the treatment be repeated the same day?

If the outcome does not meet your client's expectations, the most advisable course of action is to offer a complimentary repeat treatment after a few weeks. If an immediate correction is absolutely necessary, the treatment can be carefully repeated within a couple of days using minimum timing. Always prioritise the condition of the client's natural lashes before proceeding.

How should I remove the products from the lashes after an InLei Lash Filler treatment?

Throughout the treatment, all solutions should be removed using dry cotton buds only - water should be avoided entirely. At the end of the treatment, apply Filler 3 to help dissolve the fixing gel, then use the Fillering tool to gently clear any remaining fixing gel and tint residue from the lashes. Filler 3 does not need to be removed once the treatment is complete.

As part of the updated InLei Lash Filler 25.9 protocol, the treatment can be finished by cleansing the lash and eyelid area with InLei Mousse Magica. This professional foam shampoo removes residual tint and glue, releases the shields, and leaves the lashes perfectly clean without disrupting the curl or hair structure. It is gentle, suitable for sensitive skin, and helps minimise the risk of allergic reactions.

    Does InLei tint contain PPD?

Like all professional hair dyes, InLei Tint does contain PPD. However, the concentration used in InLei Tint is significantly lower than that found in most other brands, making it a more considerate choice for clients with sensitivities.

    Does InLei tint contain ammonia?

InLei Tint is formulated with plant waxes and contains no ammonia, making it a gentler option for both the technician and the client.

Why did the InLei tint not stain the skin, or why did the stain fade quickly?

The longevity of the tint on the skin is influenced by several factors, including the shade selected (deeper colours tend to produce a stronger stain), the client's skin type, and any mechanical activity such as scrubbing, peeling, makeup application, or frequent touching of the area. On normal skin, results typically last around 7 to 10 days, on dry skin up to 7 days, and on oily or combination skin between 3 and 5 days.

Can Lash Filler products be used for an eyebrow treatment?

Yes, a Brow Filler treatment can be performed using InLei Lash Filler products. However, it is worth noting that the Lash Filler range was developed specifically for eyelashes. For dedicated eyebrow treatments, InLei has created the Brow Bomber range, which is purpose-built to deliver optimal results on brow hair. Both treatments can increase hair thickness by up to 24% after three sessions, though clients should be made aware of this outcome before proceeding with a brow treatment.

Is InLei Brow Bomber a brow lamination or brow perm treatment?

Yes, Brow Bomber is the InLei brand name for a professional brow lamination and brow perm treatment. The full system uses InLei Brow Bomber products and is performed exclusively by trained professionals.

What is the shelf life of InLei Brow Bomber bottles?

Each product displays its shelf life on the packaging. As a general guide: Brow Lift 1 and Brow Lock 2 should both be used within 3 months of opening, while Brow Bomber 3 can be kept for up to 9 months after opening. Mister Fix features an airless bottle that prevents oxygen contact, extending its shelf life to up to 12 months after opening.

Can I use henna instead of tint with InLei Brow Bomber?

Henna is not suitable for use alongside Brow Bomber treatments. Both henna and brow lamination have a drying effect on the hair, and combining the two can cause damage to the brow hairs. A minimum of 20 days should be observed between a brow lamination and a henna treatment. For best results with Brow Bomber, professional tint is always recommended.

What are the steps for the Brow Bomber treatment?

The Brow Bomber treatment follows a structured seven-step professional protocol: Step 1 — Prepare the eyebrows; Step 2 — Apply InLei Brow Lift 1; Step 3 — Shape the eyebrows; Step 4 — Apply InLei Brow Lock 2; Step 5 — Apply InLei Lash and Brow Tint; Step 6 — Hair removal; Step 7 — Apply InLei Brow Bomber 3 to nourish the brows. For a full step-by-step guide, visit our dedicated Brow Bomber blog post.

Can I use InLei Brow Bomber 3 on its own?

Brow Bomber 3 is formulated to be used as the final step of the full Brow Bomber treatment, where it complements and conditions the brow hairs after the previous steps. When used independently, it will not produce a lamination effect — it functions solely as a nourishing and moisturising butter. It can, however, be used as a finishing step following a tinting procedure to condition the brows.

Can I substitute InLei Filler 3 for InLei Brow Bomber 3 if my client is allergic?

The Lash Filler and Brow Bomber ranges have each been developed to work as a complete system within their own product families. Mixing products across ranges is not recommended, as results cannot be guaranteed when products are used outside of their intended system.

Can InLei Brow Bomber be used on eyelashes?

No. The Brow Bomber range has been specifically developed for brow lamination treatments and must not be used on eyelashes, as doing so may cause damage to the lashes.

Should I use cling film instead of fixing gel with InLei Brow Bomber?

Fixing Gel is always recommended for the Brow Bomber treatment, as it helps control hair direction and achieve the desired shaping effect. Cling film should not be used, as Brow Bomber is a cold perm process. Covering the brows with cling film generates heat, which accelerates processing time and can result in damage to the brow hairs.

Can I use a different brand of tint with InLei Brow Bomber?

All products within the Brow Bomber range have been designed to work together as a complete system. Using an alternative tint brand may affect the overall outcome, and results may differ from those achieved when using the full InLei Brow Bomber collection.
